Hollow chrome rods for telescopic hydraulic cylinders are metal tubes with a certain diameter and a certain wall thickness. Telescopic hydraulic cylinders got their name for a reason: they are arranged according to the type of telescope or telescope. The hollow tubes fit into each other.
