Full–bodied chrome rods are solid metal rods made of steel, which are covered with a layer of chromium. Full-bodied rods are very durable and able to withstand heavy loads.
The surface of the rods NIMET with hard chrome plating gives resistance against corrosion and wear, reduces friction and improves strength.
They are usually used for non-aggressive applications where the rods are not subjected to mechanical shocks.
Chrome-plated rods, hardened by high frequency current (HDV), are characterized by an exceptionally smooth surface, thereby providing high resistance to corrosion and wear, have high strength and resistance to mechanical shocks.
